AI is definitely a breakthrough for artists or just for other mainstream people who before hadn’t even dared to experiment with music if they did not know how to play an instrument or had an outstanding voice.
Im my case started music production a few years ago and one of the tools that helped me a lot is also AI based: it is called moises.ai and essentially allows you to divide a song track into its vocals and instrumentals and grab the parts I liked to build remixes and mashups. So for eg. If i liked the lyrics of a song (Electricity by Dua Lipa) but wanted to have a different melody and drums from another song (Rather be bu Clean Bandit) I could split them and combine them in Abelton by using the moises.ai platform! - have made songs using it and really liked the result!
